About The Position

The University of Arkansas is seeking a Refrigeration Technician responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of all dining facilities equipment. This role involves completing Preventive Maintenance work orders to extend the lifecycle of dining equipment and serves as the liaison for the Chartwells partnership. The position is event/weather essential and requires regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance. Requirements

  • Formal education equivalent of a high school diploma.
  • At least five years of experience in the chosen field including but not limited to Dining Technician Diagnostics, repair of kitchen equipment, HVACR or related experience.
  • EPA Certification.
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and assignments.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds waist-high, climb stairs daily, and operate basic hand tools.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others in the workplace.
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
