The position requires a high school diploma or GED, formal ammonia refrigeration training, and 3-5 years of experience in an industrial food processing facility. The technician must possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, be proficient in plumbing and basic welding, and have computer skills for documentation and system operation. The role involves working in various environments, including extreme temperatures, and may require occasional work at heights or in confined spaces. A shift differential is offered for overnight work.
