About The Position

The San Diego Unified School District is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Mechanic (Air Conditioning) to perform installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of air conditioning machinery and equipment. This is a promotional/open opportunity within the second-largest school district in California and one of the largest urban school districts in the United States. Requirements

• Completion of a recognized air condition mechanic training program, or two years of directly related experience.
• Possession of a valid Class II Environmental Protection Agency certificate for handling chlorofluorocarbons (C.F.C.).

• Thorough, clear, and concise answers to all application questions.
• Contact information for all previous places of employment where served in a classified (non-certificated) position, including HR email addresses.
• Contact information for three references, preferably current or previous supervisors.

• Copy of Licenses and/or Certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Individuals who have completed high school or college-level coursework at an institution in a country other than the United States must provide a Foreign Equivalency Certification.
