Refrigeration Maintenance - Harvest/Processing
About The Position
This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role requires standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching in all work areas. Candidates must be able to climb stairs and ladders and lift up to 100 pounds. Work is performed in cold, damp, or hot and humid environments, with temperatures ranging from 30°F to 105°F. Candidates must be mechanically inclined; welding experience is preferred.
Requirements
- 6 months ammonia refrigeration or boiler room experience
- 12 months experience of mechanical work will be considered in lieu of refrigeration experience
- Mechanically inclined
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Welding experience is preferred
