Refrigeration Maintenance - Harvest/Processing
About The Position
This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role requires standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching in all work areas. Candidates must be able to climb stairs and ladders and lift up to 100 pounds. Work is performed in cold, damp, or hot and humid environments, with temperatures ranging from 30°F to 105°F. Candidates must be mechanically inclined; welding experience is preferred. Refrigeration maintenance crews work six (6) days per week with two (2) rotating days off. Schedules include Sundays and some major holidays.
Requirements
- 6 months ammonia refrigeration or boiler room experience
- 12 months experience of mechanical work will be considered in lieu of refrigeration experience
- Mechanically inclined
- Must take a tour before accepting a job offer
Nice To Haves
- Welding experience is preferred
