About The Position

Applicants will be considered for any refrigeration maintenance Tech position open. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview. Applicants must be willing to work overtime and weekends. Some departments are hot/wet, and some are cold/wet. Position requires pushing, pulling, or lifting over 40 lbs. and climbing ladders above 10 feet. The work schedule is 6 days a week and 7 if production woks on Saturday. Position requires standing approximately 8.5 hours/day on concrete floor. Requires being a member of the Plant Hazmat Team. Must be able to complete computer-based training and entering work into the SAP system. Requires using SCBA equipment. All other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

At least 6 months’ industrial refrigeration experience or be a recent graduate from an accredited school for industrial refrigeration.
Pass a Level 4 pulmonary function test and physical.
Be recertified each year to maintain position.
Be clean shaven to get a proper fit while using SCBA equipment.
Relevant work experience documented in the work history section of the application or upload a resume with your work history experience.
Provide government identification number.
Not have worked for Tyson Foods more than 3 times.
Be rehired after 180 days (unless Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal).
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
