About The Position

Refrigeration Maintenance is responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all refrigeration and HVAC equipment. This role involves monitoring system operations, keeping logs, examining and troubleshooting problems, repairing equipment, completing preventative maintenance, and controlling system start-up and shut-down. The position requires informing supervisors of potential problems, participating in PSM and RMP, and adhering to all OSHA, EPA, and IIAR standards and company policies. Team members will work around ammonia, Freon, CO2, and natural gases, and will learn to operate both old and new equipment. Other duties may be assigned, such as painting and cleaning. Work is performed under frequent or occasional direction depending on the task.

  • Must be able to walk and stand for duration of the shift
  • Must have workable use of both hands
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to bend, twist, push, pull and reach
  • Ability to climb stairs
  • Work around ammonia, Freon, Co2, and natural gases

Responsibilities
