About The Position
Kirk NationaLease is seeking a skilled Travel Refrigeration Trailer Technician/Mechanic for their Lyndhurst, VA location. This role involves hands-on work with reefer units and trailer refrigeration systems, including preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered refrigeration units.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working on reefer units and trailer refrigeration systems.
- Strong proficiency and working knowledge of reefer (diesel-powered refrigeration) units, PMs, and A/C systems.
- EPA Section 608 Certification required.
- Required experience repairing refrigeration units (diesel engine) on heavy-duty trailers.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
- Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required).
Responsibilities
