About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Refrigerated Semi Trailer Technician to join our team in Irving, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing transport refrigeration units, trucks, trailers, and related equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, repair various systems including electrical, starting, charging, cooling, and refrigeration, and conduct repairs such as leak detection, compressor replacement, refrigerant line soldering, and component replacement. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and organization.

Requirements

• 1+ years of transport refrigeration, diesel, or related mechanical experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail.
• Must pass pre-employment testing, background check, and drug screening.
• Must own required tools and steel-toed work boots.

Nice To Haves

• Vocational or trade school training preferred.
• ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair transport refrigeration units, trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.
• Repair electrical, starting, charging, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
• Complete repairs such as leak detection, compressor replacement, refrigerant line soldering, and component replacement.
• Inspect equipment, identify faulty parts, and use diagnostic tools as needed.
• Maintain accurate repair documentation.
• Keep tools, vehicles, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Work effectively with team members and perform other assigned duties.
