Tradewater is a certified B Corp on a mission to combat climate change by collecting and mitigating the release of non-CO₂ superpollutants like old refrigerants and methane. These actions reduce potent greenhouse gases, protect the ozone layer, and generate carbon credits to fund their mission. The company also creates social and economic value for local communities. Targeting superpollutants is presented as a fast and cost-effective climate strategy, as these gases are exponentially more potent than CO₂ and cannot be removed from the atmosphere once released. Tradewater has prevented significant amounts of CO₂ equivalent from releasing into the atmosphere and aims to prevent more by 2030. The Refrigerant Collections Associate will be part of the U.S. Halocarbon team, traveling across the country to support refrigerant collection efforts, primarily in the Midwest and Southern regions. This role involves 30-50% travel, including driving and flying. When not traveling, responsibilities include planning collection trips, supporting the sourcing team, and handling inbound calls for Small Scale Aggregation (SSA) efforts. The position is a combination of remote work and travel, requiring candidates to be based near a major airport (Kansas City, St. Louis, Nashville, Atlanta, Dallas-Fort Worth, or Chicago preferred).
