About The Position

The Refinish Technician provides an exceptional customer experience by meticulously refinishing vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition. The role includes thoroughly mixing paint, color matching, and completing refinish operations as described in work orders. The technician works with the team to achieve repair-facility KPIs and support Gerber Collision & Glass’s goals for speed, quality, and customer excellence, while serving as a brand ambassador. Gerber provides PAPR systems to support a safe and comfortable work environment.

Requirements

2–5+ years of collision repair experience.
Ability to properly complete all steps in the refinishing process.
Above-average focus on quality.
High production capabilities.

Nice To Haves

I-CAR or ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

Review body work for quality and completeness when it arrives in the paint department.
Mix paint, color match, and refinish vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition.
Complete refinish operations as described in the work order.
Use and maintain paint material inventory efficiently.
Consistently use required safety equipment and properly dispose of hazardous waste.
Attend and collaborate with the team during daily production meetings.
Work in coordination with the production schedule and coworkers to meet deadlines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
