About The Position

The Refinish Technician provides an exceptional customer experience by meticulously refinishing vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition. The role involves mixing paint, matching colors, and completing refinishing work while contributing to the repair facility’s speed, quality, and customer-service goals. The technician works with team members to achieve facility KPIs and represents Gerber Collision & Glass. The company provides PAPR systems to support a safe and comfortable work environment.

Requirements

2–5+ years of collision repair experience.
Ability to properly complete all steps in the refinishing process.
Above-average focus on quality.
High production capabilities.

Nice To Haves

I-CAR or ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

Review body work for quality and completeness as it arrives in the paint department.
Mix paint, match colors, and refinish vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition.
Complete all refinish operations described in the work order.
Use and maintain paint material inventory efficiently.
Use required safety equipment consistently and dispose of hazardous waste properly.
Attend and collaborate with the team during daily production meetings.
Work with the production schedule and coworkers to meet deadlines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
