About The Position

The Refinish Technician provides an exceptional customer experience by meticulously refinishing vehicles and ensuring each repair restores the vehicle to its pre-accident condition. The role involves mixing paint, color matching, and completing refinishing operations in accordance with work orders while supporting the facility’s speed, quality, and customer-service goals. The technician works with team members to achieve repair-facility KPIs and represents the Gerber Collision & Glass brand. PAPR systems are provided to support a safe and comfortable work environment.

Requirements

2–5+ years of collision repair experience.
Ability to properly complete all steps in the refinishing process.
Above-average focus on quality.
High production capabilities.

Nice To Haves

I-CAR or ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

Review body work for quality and completeness when it arrives in the paint department.
Mix paint, color match, and refinish vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition.
Complete all refinishing operations described in the work order.
Use and maintain paint material inventory efficiently.
Consistently use required safety equipment and properly dispose of hazardous waste.
Attend and collaborate with the team during daily production meetings.
Coordinate with the production schedule and coworkers to meet deadlines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
