The Insurance Referral Authorization Coordinator is responsible for effectively and efficiently managing all referrals for all contracted insurances and organizations. Gather pertinent information from patients, insurance carriers, financial counselors, and other staff to confirm the patient's financial obligations for services. Verifies insurance coverage and obtains required authorizations when necessary. This role will document referrals, communications, action and other data in an EMR system. Generates and distributes all applicable forms, notifications and paperwork. Mosaic Health is a national care delivery platform focused on expanding access to comprehensive primary care for consumers with coverage across Commercial, Individual Exchange, Medicare, and Medicaid health plans.
