JOB SUMMARY Performs clerical, reception, scheduling and patient financial account functions. Assists in coordinating primary healthcare services to a large outpatient client population. Retrieves, reviews and assigns and/or distributes all referrals/faxes. Verifies eligibility and status of referrals when appropriate for the physician office and/or member.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent is preferred.
Previous training in general medical office skills and procedures.
Proficient and knowledgeable of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

Retrieves, reviews and assigns and/or distributes all referrals/faxes.
