About The Position

DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital is hiring a full-time Referral Coordinator to join our Client Experience Team. As a Referral Coordinator, you will act as a liaison between pet owners, referring veterinarians (rDVMs), and DoveLewis’ Specialty departments. You will be tasked with coordinating appointments, managing medical record communications, and supporting a seamless client experience from check-in to discharge. Our ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an eye for detail and organization and, above all, a genuine love of animals and an appreciation for the human-animal bond.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-paced administrative, receptionist, or client service role
  • At least 6 months of experience in an emergency or specialty veterinary setting
  • Prior experience using veterinary practice management software required

Nice To Haves

  • Veterinary assistant experience is a plus
  • Any suitable combination of experience or education may substitute for the above.
