The Referral Coordinator will provide the best possible care to our patients by assisting patients and providers with outgoing referrals. This role requires the ability to work autonomously with little instruction and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, treating patients with compassion and kindness during every interaction.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be able to work independently
- Possess strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to adhere to established goals and deadlines
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years’ experience in medical office preferred
- Knowledge of patient registration process highly preferred
- ICD-9/10 and CPT coding a plus
Responsibilities
- Send referrals electronically.
- Close the loop (Verify patient is scheduled to be seen).
- Upload Documentation from Specialist Visit.
