About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Reference Test Clerk to join our team in Englewood, CO. This role involves preparing laboratory specimens for analysis and testing, researching and resolving customer and specimen issues, and sending test requests to the appropriate locations while releasing test results. The clerk will also assist clients with specimen-related inquiries, process specimens for external facilities, and provide support to various laboratory areas. Key duties include sample sorting, racking, retrieving, and maintaining efficient record logs, all within a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Comfortability with handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Strong communication skills; written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment
• Well organized and a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Nice To Haves

• Current or prior Labcorp experience
• 1 year or more of experience in a medical / clinical laboratory experience
