About The Position

Labcorp is seeking an Onsite Lab Support Clerk to join their team in Winston Salem, NC. This role involves preparing laboratory specimens for analysis and testing, communicating with client office staff, troubleshooting customer and specimen issues, meeting department goals, and accurately entering patient information. The position also requires packing and shipping specimens, scrubbing requisitions, and performing special services like spinning, freezing, and splitting specimens as needed.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED or equivalent
1 year or more experience in laboratory or accessioning or production or manufacturing
Comfortable handling biological specimens
Ability to accurately identify specimens
Experience working in a team environment
Strong data entry and organizational skills
High level of attention to detail
Experience with MS Office
Able to lift up to 40lbs.
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
This position requires you to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

2 years or more of medical or patient facing healthcare experience
