About The Position

The position, Hospital Reference Test Clerk, will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment located onsite with one of our client offices. Labcorp is seeking a Onsite Lab Support Clerk to join our team in Washington, DC. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy of millions of healthcare tests by preparing laboratory specimens for analysis and testing, communicating effectively with client office staff, and troubleshooting customer and specimen issues. The ideal candidate will be organized, accountable, and committed to accuracy.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED or equivalent
1 year or more experience in laboratory or accessioning or data entry or manufacturing
Comfortable handling biological specimens
Ability to accurately identify specimens
Experience working in a team environment
Strong data entry and organizational skills
High level of attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office
Able to lift up to 40lbs.
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
