Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience working on Carrier and/or Thermo King reefers
- EPA 608/609 Certification
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical and refrigeration schematics
- Willingness to participate in rotating night/weekend on-call schedule
- Must have your own set of basic tools
- Ability to lift and work in both shop and mobile environments without restrictions
- Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair Carrier and Thermo King refrigeration units and APUs
- Perform diesel engine preventative maintenance, including: Fuel system diagnostics, Cooling system diagnostics, Mechanical coupling systems
- Work both in-shop and in a mobile service environment
- Collaborate with service writers, leadership, parts teams, drivers, vendors, and customers to ensure top-level service
- Accurately complete and submit all required paperwork in a timely manner
- Follow all company safety standards and procedures
- Support additional shop or field needs as assigned
