About The Position

At Amazon, the Workforce Staffing (WFS) team is seeking a non-exempt, Reduced Time (RT) Staffing Administrator to help coordinate and execute activities supporting High-Volume Hiring (HVH) and staffing efforts for a defined geography (node). This role involves processing candidates virtually and in person at New Hire Events (NHE). RT Staffing Administrators will develop and coordinate staffing support activities and provide administrative assistance to the WFS organization to ensure successful completion of all staffing processes. This position is crucial for creating a positive candidate and employee experience, playing an integral role in the Node’s staffing efforts. The ideal candidate will thrive on integrating various components to form a complete picture and enjoy working in a team environment with a focus on individual contribution. The role involves working with a team of Staffing Coordinators and Managers in an innovative and fast-paced environment, with flexible schedules, shifts, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent diploma

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in administrative tasks such as data entry, managing data driven report processes or processes
  • Experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service, or experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
  • Experience in recruiting or HR
  • Experience troubleshooting and documenting findings, or experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
  • Experience troubleshooting issues and root cause analysis
  • Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation
  • Associate's degree or above
  • Experience with contact management system/applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
  • 1+ years of system administration, or 6+ months of technical support experience
  • Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
  • Bi-lingual skills are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Sets up, executes, and breaks down New Hiring Events (NHE) based on labor projections to meet the labor order demands and fill on-time
  • Support candidate activity to ensure all electronic paperwork is completed on time
  • Providing follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email
  • Tracking recruiting activities and reporting candidate status
  • Attend events such as community fairs, hiring events and job fairs
  • Address basic questions regarding recruiting process
  • Identifying opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency
  • Assist in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed
  • Assist in on boarding of new hires and departures of employees
  • Administrative tasks as needed
  • Effectively executes NHE activities including Host, Candidate Care Specialist, Candidate Processing, Badge Photo, and/or Drug Test Administrator
  • Required to work a flexible schedule, including varying shifts, evenings, and weekends in multiple sites
  • Overtime may also be required to support the needs of the business
  • Must be organized with attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work in an environment with competing demands
  • Must be able to travel as needed to conduct events in locations within your designated Node or geographical area
