About The Position

Outpost is a marketing agency specializing in Reddit, helping brands build an authentic presence within online communities. They focus on 'white-hat' tactics, engaging genuinely in relevant conversations and building dedicated subreddits for clients. This role involves representing a specific client in the international payroll and global employment sector, acting as their voice on Reddit to build trust and goodwill.

Requirements

Deep Reddit knowledge, understanding its culture, what earns traction, and what gets removed.
A marketing background (content, social media, SEO, or AEO/GEO).
Ability to write like a person, not a marketer, and comfort with putting your name to a brand publicly.
Genuine knowledge of international payroll, employer of record, global hiring, or HR operations is a significant plus.
Experience in payroll, people ops, HR tech, or global employment is highly desirable.
Experience as the person responsible for figuring out how to hire someone in another country.

Nice To Haves

Agency experience is a plus.
Genuine enthusiasm for the brand being represented.

Responsibilities

Own the client's disclosed Reddit account presence, posting as a named member of their team.
Identify and join relevant conversations using a prioritized thread queue from Outpost's platform.
Comment, post, and run occasional AMAs on behalf of the brand.
Respond to threads where the brand is being compared or discussed, ideally within an hour and at latest within 24 hours.
Work with moderators to ensure content stays up and is approved before going live.
Prepare and launch the client's own subreddit around month five.
Act as the 'eyes on the ground' by flagging buyer sentiment and actionable insights for monthly client intelligence reports.
Set up a second Reddit account in the name of a team member for the client.
Attend meetings as agreed upon in advance.
