This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, directing, evaluating, and managing the overall daily operations of the designated Center. The primary concerns include programs and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, facilities management, program safety, community relations, and youth membership administration. The role involves managing and supervising a variety of youth programs, coordinating services with local schools and referral sources, and representing the Center in the community to build a positive image of The Salvation Army. The Site Director may also be required to transport youth center members and staff and serve as a liaison with Corps programming staff to ensure mission alignment and outcomes. Participation in the Salvation Army’s ministry advancement is expected by collaborating with Officers to provide an engaging, enriching, and empowering environment where youth develop Christ-like character and leadership skills.
