About The Position

This position is responsible for recruiting, training, coordinating, and monitoring the work of employee and volunteer bell ringers to ensure adequate staffing for all locations. The role involves preparing records and reports related to these activities. Duties are typically performed seated, with occasional standing or walking. A significant portion of the work time (50-75%) involves driving to and from kettle locations, and a smaller amount of physical effort (5-10%) is associated with lifting and carrying equipment weighing less than 40 lbs.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D.
Two years general office and/or data entry experience in a customer service setting.
Ability to follow instructions and work with limited supervision.
Ability to prepare accurate and complete records and reports.
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with volunteers and staff.
Ability to lead, motivate, and evaluate the work of volunteers and staff.
Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
Valid State Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

One year experience working with kettle fund raising programs preferred.
Knowledge of volunteer recruitment methods and practices.
