2nd Shift Recycling Warehouse Associate - Kalamazoo, MI
About The Position
Imperial Beverage is seeking a 2nd Shift Recycling Warehouse Associate to join their team in Kalamazoo, MI. This role involves staying busy with a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment, including recycling, organizing, unloading, and stocking cases of beer, wine, and spirits. The position offers a great workout, opportunities to learn new roles, and the chance to work with a great team. This is a full-time position working Tuesday-Friday from 1pm-10pm, resulting in a 3-day weekend. The minimum compensation for this role is $18.25 per hour, with pay determined by experience.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- 18 years of age or older
- Basic computer skills to use an iPod and warehouse management software
- Flexibility to work with varying shift end times
- Attention to detail and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines with accuracy
- Ability to lift and carry an average of 30 pounds, repetitively, and move up to 165 pounds
- Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per day

Responsibilities
- Organize and recycle product returned to the warehouse.
- Check in delivery trucks daily.
- Prepare for drivers by getting pallets ready for returned product.
- Check each delivery truck as they return to the warehouse for returned product and recyclables.
- Crush glass, compact cardboard, and load other recyclable products on trailers.
- Organize empty kegs to be returned to suppliers.
- Repack and stock returned product.
- Replenish inventory.
- Clean the docking area and wash delivery trucks.
