About The Position

Imperial Beverage is seeking a 2nd Shift Recycling Warehouse Associate to join their team in Kalamazoo, MI. This role involves staying busy with a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment, including recycling, organizing, unloading, and stocking cases of beer, wine, and spirits. The position offers a great workout, opportunities to learn new roles, and the chance to work with a great team. This is a full-time position working Tuesday-Friday from 1pm-10pm, resulting in a 3-day weekend. The role requires individuals who can handle hard work, take initiative to train on multiple jobs for advancement, and work well within a team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer skills to use an iPod and warehouse management software.
• Flexibility to work with varying shift end times.
• Attention to detail and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines with accuracy.
• Ability to lift and carry an average of 30 pounds, repetitively, and move up to 165 pounds.
• Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per day.

• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and recycle product returned to the warehouse.
• Check-in delivery trucks daily.
• Collect forklift/pallet jack, scanner, and iPod.
• Prepare pallets for returned product.
• Check each delivery truck for returned product and recyclables.
• Crush glass, compact cardboard, and load other recyclable products on trailers.
• Organize empty kegs to be returned to suppliers.
• Repack and stock returned product.
• Replenish inventory.
• Clean the docking area and wash delivery trucks.
