1st Shift Recycling Sorter, GFL, Chester, VA
About The Position
General Laborers / Sorters are needed to sort recyclables at a large recycling and processing plant in Chester, VA. Sorting recyclables is not a glamorous job but it’s a necessary one that helps keep our community clean. This position does not require a resume; a candidate's ability to follow directions and the results of the realistic job preview will determine if we consider moving forward in candidacy for a future or present full-time position. Our candidate selection process is based on specific criteria to foster a positive and efficient workforce that aligns with Leadpoint's culture.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds, as needed.
- Ability to stand for your entire shift.
- Willing to consent to a background check.
- Willing to consent to a drug screen.
- Reliable transportation to get to work.
- Ability to follow directions.
Nice To Haves
- Prior warehouse, general labor or sorting experience is a plus, but not required.
