About The Position
Tomlinson Environmental Services is looking for Recycling Facility Sorters for our Carp construction and demolition recycling facility. This position involves sorting and picking the waste material by hand and placing the material in the corresponding bins based on the type of material. Sorters are responsible for maintaining a clean work area, and working well with others.
Requirements
- Outdoor/indoor working conditions
- Long periods of standing
- Labour experience would be considered an asset
- Mechanically inclined would be considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Sort construction waste material
- Place construction waste material in bins
- Clean equipment as scheduled
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
- Ensure clean work environment
