About The Position

The City of Staunton Public Works Department is seeking a full-time Recycle Attendant to join its team. This role is responsible for collecting recyclable materials at the centralized recycling center. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, assisting and guiding citizens with sorting and collecting materials. The position requires a strong character and work ethic, physical capability to lift approximately 40 pounds regularly, and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. The role involves working outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
