About The Position

The Recycling Associate operates recycling machinery and supports safe handling of recycling products in a warehouse environment. The role requires following Raymour & Flanigan safety policies, working independently and as part of a team, and carrying out additional duties assigned by management. The associate must be able to become certified to operate material-handling equipment, including an order picker and electric pallet jack.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience with material-handling equipment, recycling machinery, and warehouse management systems is preferred. Physical duties include lifting, lowering, pushing, and pulling furniture weighing up to and in excess of 100 pounds, and safely lifting recycling products into machinery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent listening skills.
• Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull furniture weighing up to and in excess of 100 pounds.
• Ability to safely lift recycling products into machinery.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating an order picker and electric pallet jack.
• Experience operating a cardboard bailer, styrofoam extruder, and plastic compactor.
• Experience with warehouse management systems.
