Under the supervision of the Environmental Sustainability Director, this part-time position provides materials management support for Eaton County’s Department of Resource Recovery. The role involves operating the department’s Mobile Recycling Program (MRP) in rural communities, collecting recyclable materials such as plastic, metal, glass, paper, cardboard, and batteries for processing at the Sunfield Recycling Center. Responsibilities include baling and managing materials at the recycling center, supporting waste recovery, and assisting with data collection efforts, including county-wide events. No prior recycling knowledge is required. Starting pay is dependent on relevant experience.
