About The Position

This position manages a centralized recruitment process, including requisition and position posting management and oversight, in partnership with Business Affairs Human Resources. The role involves completing phone screenings, scheduling interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, conducting reference checks, and preparing hiring paperwork. The coordinator also assists with candidate communication and ensures the recruitment process is managed professionally and in a timely manner. Additionally, this role assists in developing, coordinating, and facilitating professional development and training sessions, overseeing new hire training checkpoint measures and providing general oversight for new employee onboarding during the probationary period. The position also facilitates administrative processes for Building Services, including recruitment and training documentation, and stays current in human resources/recruitment best practices.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and five years of appropriate experience.
  • Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
  • Valid Florida driver's license is required.
  • Criminal Background Check Required.

  • Ability to train on broad and specific custodial and maintenance-related topics in a cohesive and comprehensive manner.
  • Knowledge of building construction design and safety requirements.

  • Familiarity with building trades, construction methods and materials, HVAC systems, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with candidate communication and follow-up throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Assists in developing, coordinating, and facilitating professional development and training sessions.
  • Oversees new hire training checkpoint measures during an employee’s probationary period.
  • Provides general oversight for new employee onboarding over the 6-month probationary period.
  • Facilitates administrative processes for Building Services, including recruitment and training documentation.
  • Keeps current in human resources/recruitment best practices by attending workshops/seminars, reading professional literature, and traveling to conferences.
  • Performs other duties as directed, assigned, or required.
