About The Position

MACT Health Board's mission is to improve the health status of the American Indian and Alaskan Native population by providing high-quality care through various services including Medical, Behavioral Health, Chiropractic, Dental, Optometry, Massage Therapy, and Women’s Health. They are seeking a motivated Recruitment Specialist for a Full Time role in a clinical setting. As a member of the health care team, the Recruitment Specialist will support the establishment by providing recruitment services for the HR department.

Requirements

  • 1 year of recruiting/HR experience.
  • HRIS/ATS experience required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills as demonstrated through the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments within the MACT organization.
  • Supports an ethical standard, which complies with a code of conduct free of conflicts of interest.
  • Current BLS/ALS certificate
  • Must pass Occupational Health Screening.
  • Must possess a valid form of identification as listed on the U.S. Department of Justice I-9 form, verified using the E Verify system.
  • Clean DMV driving record and MACT auto insurance driving eligibility (determined by auto insurance carrier).
  • Awareness and keen appreciation of American Indian traditions, customs, and socioeconomic needs and the ability at all times to meet and deal effectively in contacts with Indian health organizations which requires tact, courtesy, discretion, resourcefulness and good judgment in handling functions of a sensitive nature.

Nice To Haves

  • HRCI/SHRM Certification preferred
  • ADP preferred.
  • Associates Degree in Business or HR Management preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with coordinating full life cycle of recruitment.
  • Post job openings on internal career sites, ensuring accuracy and timely management.
  • Assist with applicant screening, including resume review and phone interviews.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Assist with interview logistics and scheduling.
  • Assist with the initiation and management of the pre-employment process, including background checks, drug screenings and onboarding coordination.
  • Support recruitment events such as career fairs and community outreach.
  • Assist with developing recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill roles.
  • Help improve candidate experience processes and communication templates.
  • Support onboarding experience and new hire check-ins.
  • Partner with HR and hiring managers on workforce planning needs.
  • Monitor compliance of Indian Preference requirements for the organization.
  • Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all personnel policies and procedures.
  • Maintain HRIS database and electronic records, assists in the maintenance of confidential employee information.
  • Other duties as assigned.
