About The Position

This is a 3-month contract internship focused on Recruitment Sourcing. The intern will gain direct exposure to high-volume recruiting operations and strategic hiring initiatives, with hands-on experience in enterprise HR systems and recruiting workflows. The role offers an opportunity to impact hiring outcomes and business growth measurably.

Requirements

  • Current student or recent graduate in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Strong interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR operations.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn, sourcing tools, and basic applicant tracking systems.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Prior internship or experience in recruiting, sales, or customer-facing roles.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms (Paylocity preferred).
  • Experience with outreach messaging, candidate engagement, or CRM tools.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret recruiting metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and internal databases.
  • Execute targeted sourcing strategies for high-volume and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Develop passive candidate outreach campaigns (email, InMail, sequencing).
  • Conduct initial resume reviews and candidate screens against defined job requirements.
  • Assess candidate alignment on skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Provide structured candidate summaries to the recruiting team.
  • Manage candidate outreach, scheduling, and follow-ups across multiple requisitions.
  • Ensure timely communication and a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
  • Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in ATS (Paylocity or equivalent).
  • Track sourcing activity, pipeline metrics, and candidate progression.
  • Support reporting on recruiting KPIs (time-to-fill, pipeline health, conversion rates).
  • Assist with pipeline building initiatives, workforce planning support, and market research.
  • Contribute to process improvements within recruiting workflows.
  • Support employer branding and job posting optimization efforts.
