This role reports directly to the Manager, Recruitment & Onboarding. Learn more about us here: https://www.jpautogroup.com/dealership/about.htm The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the full recruitment lifecycle, from developing recruiting strategies to onboarding new employees. This role plays a key part in ensuring a positive candidate experience while maintaining compliance with employment laws and organizational hiring standards.

Requirements

Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment legislation.
Excellent organizational and realistic time management skills.
Experience with ATS systems, job boards, and career sites.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented and accurate in all work and communication.
Must be a team player and have a strong work ethic.
This role requires successful candidates to submit a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.

Nice To Haves

Automotive recruitment experience is considered a strong asset.
CPHR designation, or actively working toward obtaining the designation, is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Create, post, and manage job advertisements across multiple recruitment platforms.
Source and screen resumes to identify qualified applicants.
Conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
Complete all required due diligence and pre-employment checklists, including reference checks, background screening, and other hiring requirements.
Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant tracking systems.
Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
Stay current on local employment laws, hiring regulations, and recruitment best practices to ensure compliance throughout the hiring process.
