Onsite Outbound Donor Scheduler
About The Position
Vitalant is seeking a customer-focused Recruitment Coordinator to support its lifesaving mission by engaging current, former, and prospective blood donors and scheduling their donations at fixed-site locations. The role helps achieve recruitment goals, coordinates donor appointments, supports blood centers with recruitment strategies, and provides information about eligibility and donation requirements. The position is onsite at Vitalant’s Tempe, Arizona location. The posted schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PDT, with a stated start date of November 30, 2026. The listed hourly salary range is $15.61 to $17.46, commensurate with experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least six months of customer service experience.
- Proficient computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of customer service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance the donor experience.
- Engage current, past, and prospective donors to schedule blood donations.
- Collaborate on specialized calling projects, including conversions, reminder calls, and outreach to first-time donors.
- Support blood centers by implementing recruitment strategies and managing donor scheduling.
- Provide expertise on donor eligibility and donation requirements.
- Contribute to onboarding new hires and conduct refresher training for new and existing staff.
