About The Position

The Condado Collection is a hospitality group in Puerto Rico comprising luxury hotels, fine dining, and vibrant entertainment. Properties include Condado Vanderbilt, La Concha Resort, and Condado Ocean Club, along with Casino del Mar and restaurants like STK San Juan and Serafina. Their goal is to create experiences and inspire travel for both guests and employees, believing that their collaborators are key to delivering passionate and authentic hospitality service. They are seeking a highly motivated Recruitment Coordinator to support talent acquisition and hiring processes, responsible for coordinating recruitment activities, maintaining communication with candidates and managers, and ensuring an efficient hiring experience aligned with luxury hospitality standards.

Requirements

  • Hospitality-oriented.
  • Fully bilingual (Spanish and English), with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferably or a related area.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and handle sensitive or difficult situations professionally.
  • High organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with the ICIMS platform; knowledge of ADP is valued.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, schedule, and confirm interviews between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate candidate records in ICIMS, tracking applicant status, follow-up communications, and new hire confirmations.
  • Post job openings on recruitment platforms, social media, local job boards, and hospitality industry networks.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates based on job requirements.
  • Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and assist in candidate evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records, candidate tracking systems, and hiring documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Puerto Rico labor laws, company policies, and equal employment opportunity standards.
  • Coordinate pre-employment processes, including background checks, references, drug testing, and employment verification.
  • Support new employee onboarding and orientation activities, including scheduling orientations, hiring paperwork, uniforms, and employee file creation.
  • Participate in job fairs, recruitment events, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Develop relationships with local schools, universities, and hospitality training programs to strengthen talent pipelines.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, turnover, and hiring effectiveness.
  • Assist in developing recruitment strategies to attract bilingual and hospitality-focused talent.
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience, aligned with the hotel's customer service standards.
  • Support Human Resources projects and other administrative tasks as assigned.
