About The Position

EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency, is seeking a dedicated part-time Recruitment Assistant for its Human Resources Department. This role offers an opportunity to learn about HR and Recruitment functions within a supportive environment committed to employee well-being and growth. Requirements

Some knowledge of computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar, and email and/or database software is a big plus.
Must have a pleasant phone manner and good interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Able to conduct self in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

Assist with recruiting efforts, job fairs, and marketing events.
Assist in sourcing candidates using recruiting tools such as Indeed, Handshake, and social media platforms.
Assist the Recruitment Manager in the preparation and attendance of job fairs.
Review applications/resumes and assess candidates for screening.
Screen candidates via live or virtual interviews and determine progression to second-round interviews.
Update databases and related channels for sourcing candidates.
Assist with the pre-hire onboarding process, including conducting pre-employment checks.
Gather candidate paperwork and e-file into digital employee files.
Prepare new hire orientation packets and onboarding kits (stationery, t-shirts, company swag).
Assist the Onboarding Manager during new hire orientation.
Gain exposure and experience with the HRIS system.
Support the HR department with clerical workload as needed.
Perform all other relevant duties as determined by Supervision and EAC NETWORK Administration.
