About The Position

Reporting to School Liaison Management, this position plays a key role in planning and implementing liaison activities, including school and community recruitment activities, to achieve recruitment objectives for Collège Boréal's target clientele. Responsibilities include designing and leading multimedia presentations, as well as holding booths and presentations for clients and their influencers. The incumbent participates in school tours, as well as community, regional, provincial, and national activities, to promote the College's programs and services to the target clientele. In addition, they provide support to the School Liaison team in organizing and evaluating recruitment activities. Travel is expected according to the cyclical calendar across the province at certain times of the year.

Requirements

  • Two-year diploma or equivalent in marketing, communications, education, business administration, or commerce
  • Minimum three years of relevant experience
  • Ability to deliver bilingual presentations, facilitate groups, promote, and organize workshops
  • Experience working in marketing, public relations, communication, and sales
  • Experience in preparing, compiling, and analyzing statistical data, as well as preparing reports
  • Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends (35 hours per week)
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of word processing (Word), spreadsheet (Excel), presentation (PowerPoint), database, and email software
  • Ability to work effectively in a team (collaboration with colleagues from different departments and establishing positive working relationships with external stakeholders), as well as to work autonomously
  • Ability to solve problems and demonstrate initiative
  • Analytical skills, good judgment, and organizational sense
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English, with the ability to present information clearly, concisely, and convincingly to different audiences
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and access to transportation

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement school recruitment activities, such as open houses, guided tours, information sessions, simulation workshops, and other school events in the region
  • Coordinate the recruitment and conversion tour; communicate with designated regional high schools, plan and manage appointments
  • Follow up with the target clientele and their influencers, and inform them about new developments, the admission process, the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP), available scholarships, as well as programs and services offered by the College
  • Contribute to the evaluation and analysis of local community recruitment initiatives, while ensuring quality control before, during, and after each activity for the clientele
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team for target clientele recruitment
  • Participate in regional or out-of-province recruitment opportunities to promote the French language and the benefits of college studies in French at the College
  • Support the School Liaison team in representing the College in schools and other locations, as directed by management
  • Contribute to list generation, data collection, and necessary follow-ups to promote conversion to admission applications
  • Ensure the collection of information and data related to community recruitment
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of potential career opportunities, as well as the College's programs, services, and admission procedures, to adapt presentation content for high school students, their parents, as well as teaching staff and guidance counselors
  • Represent the College at regional, provincial, and national recruitment events
  • Establish and maintain close ties with high school guidance counselors and school boards in the region, as well as with influencers, and ensure regular correspondence
  • Inform College staff about the expectations and needs of the target clientele and their influencers
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of all campus programs and services
  • Establish and maintain close ties with local organizations, agencies, associations, and employment centers through campaigns, partnerships, visits, and community recruitment activities
  • Ensure regular correspondence with numerous stakeholders likely to influence the local target clientele
  • Collaborate in the writing and coordination of publications and promotional texts aimed at promoting the College's programs and services to the target clientele and their influencers
  • Prepare and lead multimedia presentations for the target clientele and their influencers
  • Design and develop new initiatives to inform the target clientele and their influencers
  • Prepare and write various types of communications for the target clientele and their influencers
  • Ensure compliance with the College's brand image, including content disseminated on social media
  • Collaborate with the campus to design and launch new initiatives aimed at informing the clientele
  • Guide current and future students to appropriate resources for all programs and services, and represent the full range of College services during outreach activities and public presentations
