About The Position

The Saskatchewan Healthcare Recruitment Agency is seeking a Recruitment and Retention Associate to assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of recruitment and retention strategies. This role involves establishing and maintaining external relationships, providing information on professional licensure, building relationships with potential candidates, utilizing software for candidate profiles, providing front-line service, and contributing to sourcing and recruitment activities.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or diploma in human resources or commerce/business administration or other relevant field.
• 1 to 2 years of experience working with diverse and external clients, ideally in human resource recruitment.
• Interpersonal skills
• Communication skills
• Computer Skills

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of physician and health professional licensure would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of recruitment and retention strategies, policies, programs, practices and tactics in local, national and international environments.
• Establish and maintain effective external relationships (e.g. employers, regulators, post-secondary institutions).
• Provide specialized and complex information on professional licensure, including required national examinations and assessment pathways, to physicians and health professionals considering Saskatchewan as a place to work/practice.
• Build trusting relationships with students, residents, physicians and health professionals to influence their decision on where to work/practice.
• Utilize, support and troubleshoot software that hosts candidate profiles to ensure the Agency has the insights needed to promote career opportunities.
• Provide front-line service to public and others on services and programs such as incentives, resources for licensing and job posting.
• Contribute to sourcing and recruitment activities such initial screening of profiles and resumes; tracking and reporting.
