About The Position

The Recruitment and Programming Coordinator, Office of Graduate Careers, Georgetown Law – Georgetown University, provides computing, technical, research, clerical and administrative support to the Office of Graduate Careers (OGC) team, including handling logistical and organizational matters and playing a supportive role for all student functions and processes. The range of responsibilities include, but is not limited to, draft and send out OGC’s weekly careers newsletter, organizing and executing career events and programs; maintaining data files; preparing special reports and correspondence; processing financial matters for the team; receiving, screening and responding to email; and other electronic communication; and participating in meetings as requested.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma and 5 or more years of experience, or equivalent relevant work experience; e.g., each year of relevant work experience may be substituted for each year of education required.
  • Familiarity with financial systems, budgeting and accounting

Responsibilities

  • Submit room requests, create RSVP links and manage all aspects of OGC’s career related events and programs
  • Manage multiple versions of Symplicity, upload students to Symplicity, and create Job Postings and Resume Collections as requested by employers
  • Update OGC website, databases, and resources as needed
  • Assist with drafting OGC’s budget, track receipts and expenses, manage catering arrangements for career programs
  • Draft and send out weekly Careers Newsletter, manage multiple inboxes, conduct marketing for Externships and the Taxation Interview Program, gather data as requested by the Assistant Dean and communicate with multiple stakeholders including students, faculty, staff and employers.
