About The Position

Provide general administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team, including coordinating interview scheduling, candidate correspondence, and other administrative tasks related to recruitment. This role will also oversee and coordinate the pre-boarding experience, assuring a service-oriented approach for our non-academic and temporary employees. To succeed in this role, you will need to be detail-oriented, be an excellent communicator with internal and external clients of all levels and possess strong time management skills to prioritize multiple tasks.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Approximately 2 or more years of demonstrated successful administrative experience preferably in human resources in a client facing role within a busy office environment.
  • Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to interact with multiple constituencies and exercise "people skills".
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates ability to exercise standards of professionalism, including appearance, presentation and demeanor.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite, databases, as well as human resource applications such as applicant tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support coordination of recruitment projects and related services to supervisors, hiring managers, recruitment team members, and others.
  • Coordinates administrative processes such as interview scheduling, candidate correspondence, report creation and/or generation, and file maintenance.
  • Assists with drafting, editing, and posting requisitions on job boards, and qualifying candidates for needed skillset/competencies, cultural contribution/complement, skillset, availability, and interest level.
  • Assists with candidate sourcing via social networking, career websites, professional organizations and web searches including direct sourcing, outreach to passive candidates to develop talent pipelines for positions.
  • Conducts phone screens with potential candidates to assess qualifications for positions.
  • Assists with creating and managing advertising campaigns on select social media platforms.
  • Coordinates and participates in recruitment events such as job fairs, community activities, and other departmental recruitment-related events.
  • Triages, responds, addresses, and resolves inquiries from hiring managers, candidates or new hires. Escalates as necessary.
  • Ensures job credentials are verified such as licensure, certification and/or accreditation standards.
  • Ensures all necessary information and paperwork is documented and stored appropriately and accurately in Recruiting management systems; maintains confidential Human Resource records and information.
  • Coordinate candidate’s pre-boarding experience, assuring timely scheduling and completion.
  • Liaises with the onboarding team to ensure new hires pre-boarding checklist items have been completed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
