About The Position

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Recruiting Specialist to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates while ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process. Additionally, the Recruiting Specialist will play a key role in maintaining staff satisfaction, fostering engagement, and following up with new hires to ensure their success and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing Candidates: Proactively source candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
  • Build and maintain a talent pool for current and future hiring needs.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates based on job requirements.
  • Utilize advanced sourcing techniques (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search) to identify top talent.
  • Interviewing Candidates: Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and conduct in-person or virtual interviews with hiring managers and department leads.
  • Provide candidates with information about the company, job expectations, and benefits during the interview process.
  • Maintain a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the interview stages.
  • Onboarding New Hires: Manage the onboarding process to ensure new hires have a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Prepare and distribute offer letters, employment contracts, and other documentation.
  • Assist with the completion of necessary pre-employment checks (background checks, drug tests, etc.).
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure all paperwork is completed, including tax forms, direct deposit setup, and benefits enrollment.
  • Ensure new hires are introduced to the team and have the resources needed to succeed from day one.
  • Ensuring Staff Satisfaction: Maintain regular communication with new hires to ensure they are adjusting well to their new role and team.
  • Address any concerns or issues that arise during the initial employment period.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding questions about company policies, benefits, and job expectations.
  • Follow-Up and Retention: Check in with employees regularly to gauge satisfaction and gather feedback on their experience.
  • Track retention and turnover rates and proactively work with managers to address any issues that may impact employee retention.
  • Work with HR and management to implement employee engagement initiatives and improve overall employee experience.
  • Assist with performance management and help facilitate employee development programs.
  • Administrative Support: Keep detailed records of recruitment activities, interview notes, and candidate evaluations.
  • Track the status of candidates in the recruitment pipeline, ensuring timely communication and feedback.
