About The Position

The Recruiting Manager and Senior Credentialing Manager oversee all aspects of companywide recruitment. Manage and motivate a team of recruiters. Develop and implement an overall recruitment strategy for each position. Plan and execute recruitment events and advertising to ensure a steady pipeline of candidates. Build targeted relationships with schools and partners in the communities where we do business. Ensure the team fills open positions timely and accurately by building effective partnerships with field hiring managers. Foster a customer service attitude. The Recruiting Manager and Senior Credentialing Manager is responsible for the daily supervision of the credentialing team to ensure all credentialing files are completed, submitted to, and approved by Coast Dental’s Credentials Committee prior to provider start dates. This position works very closely with the Recruiting and Field Operations teams to meet the business needs of the organization, as well as maintain compliance with NCQA and other accrediting bodies for Coast Dental’s internal Credentialing Program.

  • 2 years of provider credentialing leadership or dental insurance experience required.
  • Must be self-motivated; detail-oriented individual.
  • Strong management skills required.
  • Availability to attend all required training seminars and meetings at scheduled time.

Responsibilities

  • Guide, coach, motivate and direct staff recruiting team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensure all recruiters utilize Jobvite daily. Confirm accuracy of notes and workflow in each candidate’s profile.
  • Conduct daily team meetings to provide coaching and ensure alignment amongst team members.
  • Ensure staff recruiters conduct pre-screen telephone interviews from candidate submittments and recruiting events. Compile information regarding license and certifications if appropriate, experience, training, and salary requirements and document on internal assessment in HRIS system.
  • Ensure staff recruiters recommend the best candidates according to the dental center needs, coordinate phone or in-person interviews and online assessments. Review and analyze interview results, extend formal job offers contingent upon pre-employment screens, and negotiate compensation while adhering to legal requirements.
  • Ensure team builds and maintains candidate pipeline for future employment opportunities.
  • Ensure team evaluates viable candidates in the pipeline for current open positions and based on needs submit requests and develops ideas for recruitment media to generate qualified candidates.
  • Utilize social media resources such as LinkedIn to source candidates and build candidate pipeline and network.
  • Oversee and manage coordination of recruitment events. Represent Coast Dental at recruitment events and trade shows.
  • Partner with senior management and various departments within the corporate office to ensure smooth hiring transition and retention for new hires.
  • Ensure team follows appropriate recruiting processes and procedures such as pre-employment screens and new hire paperwork to ensure a smooth handoff to Human Resources and Payroll.
  • Understand and optimize recruitment systems for applicant tracking, requisition process and approval, reporting and workflow to other departments.
  • Additional projects and/or responsibilities as assigned.
  • Provide daily management, oversight and leadership to the credentialing team, including payroll reconciliation.
  • Monitor credentialing activities/process management issues and implement process improvement.
  • Daily follow-up on Credentialing activities to ensure timely credentialing for the organization’s credentialing function.
  • Ensure compliance with NCQA Standards in addition to State and Federal policies and regulations.
  • Observe industry standards, analyze, implement, and monitor credentialing initiatives to help reach company goals and objectives.
  • Interview, train, and develop new staff, including responsibility for credentialing department software training.
  • Coordinate Credential Committee meetings and Ad Hoc Committee meetings.
  • Leads the response to all delegated client audits.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with the credentialing team and delegated vendors.
