Recruiting Coordinator (Contract)
About The Position
Cartesia is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to join their team. This role focuses on scheduling and will provide candidates with a positive experience. As the company scales, the Recruiting Coordinator will gain exposure to recruiting operations, process building, and system improvements. Cartesia is building models and infrastructure for real-time voice AI, and this role is crucial in shaping the team that achieves this goal. The ideal candidate enjoys getting things done quickly, thrives in a fluid and evolving environment, is eager to learn, and enjoys interacting with people. This is a contract-to-hire position with the potential for full-time conversion based on performance. Full-time benefits do not apply during the contract phase.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Recruiting Coordinator, in recruiting ops, or a similar role in a fast-paced, technical environment.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Initiative taker with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.
- Proactive communicator who keeps all stakeholders informed.
- Empathetic approach to ensure a seamless experience for candidates and the hiring team.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and keeping organized in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities
- Own scheduling end to end, coordinating interviews, debriefs, and interview kickoffs.
- Host candidates onsite, creating a warm, human, and memorable experience.
- Partner cross-functionally with recruiters, interviewers, and hiring managers to anticipate needs, solve problems, and ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate data in ATS and scheduling tools (Ashby & ModernLoop).
- Support ad hoc projects related to recruiting operations and candidate experience.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and executing opportunities to enhance operational processes.
