About The Position

Position Summary We're looking for a driven, entrepreneurial recruiting coordinator to build and own our golf coaching talent pipeline from the ground up. This is not a passive, order-taking role. If you thrive on ownership, love the sport, and get energy from turning a cold lead into a hire, this seat was built for you.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, sports management, communications, or a related field
  • 1 year of recruiting, talent acquisition, golf industry background a strong plus
  • Demonstrated comfort with cold calling and outbound prospecting with measurable results
  • Proficiency with an ATS (Workday, or similar) and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions and candidate relationships simultaneously

Nice To Haves

  • Genuine passion for or knowledge of the golf industry.
  • Prior playing, coaching, or club operations experience highly valued
  • Existing network within PGA, LPGA, or regional golf association circles
  • Experience in a high-growth, startup, or build-from-scratch recruiting environment
  • Familiarity with Boolean search, LinkedIn sourcing hacks, and creative outreach strategies that go beyond job board applications

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage job postings across multiple platforms. Post across LinkedIn, Indeed, PGA job boards, and niche golf coaching platforms; refresh and optimize based on performance data.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define and fill roles fast. Work closely with operations directors and facility leadership to deeply understand coaching needs, set accurate expectations, and compress time-to-fill through proactive pipeline readiness.
  • Build and manage your own candidate pipeline. Independently source golf coaching candidates through cold outreach, social media prospecting, golf association directories, tournament networks, and referrals.
  • Assist with onboarding coordination for new coaching hires. Support hiring managers in ensuring a smooth handoff from offer acceptance to day one, including pre-boarding communication, credential verification, and day-one logistics.
  • Support employer branding initiatives in the golf space. Collaborate with marketing on social content, testimonials, and coach spotlights that position us as the destination employer for elite golf coaching talent.
  • Track, report, and continuously improve recruiting metrics. Maintain accurate records in ATS, analyze sourcing effectiveness, conversion rates, and time-to-hire, and present weekly pipeline reports with a clear point of view on what's working and what to adjust in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Partner.
  • Build and nurture a long-term talent community. Maintain ongoing relationships with silver-medal candidates, past applicants, and golf coaching alumni so future openings can be filled faster through warm outreach rather than starting cold.
