About The Position

Lifehouse is seeking a temporary, full-time Recruiting Coordinator to support its recruiting efforts as the organization scales its mission-driven services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The coordinator will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team and its two recruiters to help meet hiring goals and implement hiring strategies. The position is in person in San Rafael, California, and pays up to $36 per hour depending on experience.

Requirements

Two years of experience in recruitment, recruitment coordination, administrative support, or a similar field.
Familiarity with ATS, HRIS, Microsoft Office, and Google platforms, and willingness to learn new systems.
Ability to pass LiveScan fingerprint clearance.
Ability to conduct screenings consistently and professionally, using good judgment and objectivity to match qualifications to job requirements.
Ability to effectively describe the position and job and represent Lifehouse.
Ability to multitask across applications for multiple positions, interview schedules, and timely callbacks.
Friendly, helpful attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule interviews among candidates, recruiters, assistant managers, and managers, ensuring timely communication and efficient scheduling.
Partner with the two recruiters to move candidates through the recruitment process, track progress, and follow up on outstanding actions to minimize delays.
Communicate interview schedules, status updates, and next steps to candidates and hiring team members.
Maintain accurate candidate records, application statuses, and recruiting activity in the Applicant Tracking System and related systems.
Coordinate the handoff of selected candidates to HR for background checks and other pre-employment requirements.
Assist recruiters with application and resume review, phone screening, and candidate follow-up as needed.
