About The Position

North Suffolk is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to join our team! As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will manage the full, high-volume recruitment cycle for your assigned programs and divisions. The Recruiting Coordinator maintains applicant tracking systems, ensures full compliance of all hiring documentation and reporting, and provides expert counsel to department heads and supervisors on the employment process.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and two years of progressive HR experience required
Working knowledge of state & federal employment laws and regulations
Off site travel is required in order to attend job fairs and agency events

Nice To Haves

Experience in direct recruiting and/or HR experience in a healthcare setting highly preferred

Responsibilities

Develop, manage, post, and advertise job listings utilizing job boards, social media, network building, and career fairs to build a diverse candidate pipeline.
Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to ensure alignment with agency goals and position requirements.
Manage pre-hire paperwork and background checks, including but not limited to drivers record checks, CPPD checks, and criminal record checks.
Participate in the onboarding process and conducting orientation trainings.
Develop and maintain professional working relationships with hiring managers in order to collaborate on current and future staffing needs.
Manage the general administration of the Agency’s Internship program in collaboration with the Internship Coordinator and Training Department.
Represent the Agency at job fairs, professional networking events, and community functions.
