Summary/objective: The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. Responsible for a variety of activities to create sourcing for EMS education and recruitment. Establish and maintain relationships with EMS programs and schools to educate and promote EMS opportunities. Essential duties: Create and implement recruitment strategies for a variety of roles. Work with hiring managers to understand job requirements and candidate fit Use various channels such as job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks to source candidates Screen resumes to identify qualified candidates. Conduct initial interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit. Schedule interviews with hiring managers. Work with hiring managers and other administrative departments to generate offers and schedule start dates. Perform background and reference checks Maintain updated candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Track and respond promptly to incoming applications, keeping candidates informed about the hiring process. Analyze recruitment data to measure job posting performance, sourcing effectiveness, and identify additional recruitment metrics. Provide presentations to potential candidates and audiences, and lead in organizing recruiting events. Create new approaches to creating an interest in EMS field including utilizing the Internet Liaison with schools and Education to promote careers in the EMS industry. Promote diversity and inclusion. Other duties: Perform other duties as assigned, including assistance with HR team tasks as needed. Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Proficient with Google Office Suite or related software
